Appointments

Appointments

If you need an appointment the surgery advises you submit an econsult between 7am-1pm daily. This service allows you to submit all the relevant information related to your query so our triage team can process your requests accordingly. https://wallacehousesurgery.webgp.com/

For those who do not have internet access, please call on 01992 550 541 and our dedicated care navigators can complete an econsult over the telephone.

Please:

  • Make an appointment well in advance if possible
  • Make a separate appointment for each person to be seen
  • Let us know if you can’t keep an appointment

Our Econsult triage system

Over the years we have experimented with our appointment system to try and get the balance right between pre-bookable appointments and on-the-day appointments. By triaging all same-day appointment requests through our Duty Doctor we are able to ensure that those that need medical attention on the day are seen.

All requests will be triaged by a GP within 2 working days.

The doctor will use your medical record for the triage and you will be contacted by a member of staff to offer you a telephone or face to face appointment for anything they feel needs to be seen.

Telephone Consultations

We do offer telephone consultations. These are for when the clinician does not feel that you need a face to face appointment but do need to discuss your case with a clinician. You will be given a estimated time and the doctor will call you on your chosen phone number at that time.

If you do not answer we would consider it a non-attendance and a new econsult will have to be submitted

We are fortunate enough to be able to offer a wide range of additional services such as the following:

– Extended Access

– Social Prescribers

– MSK Physio

– PCN eConsult Service

– Travel Clinic

– PCN Mental Health

NHS APP

Did you know you can manage repeat prescriptions from Wallace House surgery  in the NHS App?

You can easily choose where your prescriptions are sent. So, if you know you’ll be away from home or you are moving home, you can change your nominated pharmacy from within the app.

You can also order your prescription at any time that suits you. There’s no need to wait to join a telephone queue or wait until the GP surgery opens.

It’s easy to use, and, if you hit a snag, you can go to ‘Help’ in the top right-hand corner of the app or visit nhs.uk/helpmeapp.
